It seems everybody loves digital solutions. No wonder that government departments are busy making new transactional-style services.  Love them or hate them, there’ll be more in 2015.

I’m particularly interested to see what MoJ do but also HMRC who have been quiet for too long.  If you want a spoiler, check out the list below:-

  • Married persons transferable tax allowance
  • Tax summaries & amend in year tax code
  • Pre-population of tax codes and SA returns
  • Self report tool – to declare other income and claim allowances/reliefs
  • See and pay my tax online: Class 2,3 and 3A NICs; SA ‘pay now’; claim repayments; set up Direct Debits
  • Update designator details: self-reporting update tool for customers to update their personal information
  • View NICs and pay online: contributions history, qualifying years and gaps; pay Class 3A NICs
  • Charities Services: testing of online registration and change details
  • Employer Related Services (ERS)
  • Offshore intermediaries
  • Inheritance Tax Online: testing of new online service
  • Your Tax Account: possible further user testing as new online services are added
  • Agent online Self Serve: possible testing of friends and family product; and in advance of the private beta for paid agent/VCS service (registration, delegation/authorisation and a landing page, including a client dashboard)
  • IdA/Authority Management
